  • Why didn't you put a DT466 in it instead of that CAT?

  • How did you shorten the bus body ? What are the axle ratings, 12,000 steer, 17,000 drive, and 13,000 on the tag ? Is the tag fixed or does it turn freely ? Is it air ride with air brakes ? I'm wanting to know because I am wondering if you could attach a fifth wheel to the rear frame and pull a 48' trailer.......Thanks

  • Thats kinda like what I want to do, Buy a old bus fix it up then turn it into a RV

  • That's a great custom job...what make is the bus body? Corbeil?

  • That's an awesome RV

  • Thanks for the quick reply, ickycan.

    Thats a great idea !!!!

  • The CAT 3208 (which descended from the 1160 produced from 1968-74) was used by International Truck from 1975 until about January 1981, when the company had been working around their financial problems dating back to November 1979.

  • I've heard both lingoistic terms before, but "7.3" was commonly in Ford's engine glossary.
