  • How many "add a circuits" are required for this install minus the fuel pressure?

  • @XxLonghorns25xX

Since the gauges are not going to be drawing more then 5 amps you would be able to power all three with one add-a-circuit. Any other questions just ask!

  • Why does he install the boost fitting pre-intercooler, on the housng of the turbo instead of on the intake manifold? He keeps saying intake manifold but he's not drilling on the intake manifold. The boost fitting should be installed post-intercooler, as close to the actual manifold as possible so as to get a much more accurate reading of your boost levels. Also, you really don't even need to do all this if you just figure out where the MAP is reading the levels and install it there.

  • @cumminsdude505

On the 7.3 you don't want to install it to the map sensor, due to the fact you may not get as accurate reading. As far as the intake manifold, this particular install location is post intercooler. Installation varies from truck to truck, and we make sure all of our information is completely accurate before we post anything. I do really appreciate you asking questions, and if you have any more do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for watching our videos and have a great day!

Installing a t-fitting should work for you. That way you would be able to have both sensors working. For more specific instructions or for trouble shooting give our Technical Support Department a call, and they will be more then happy to get this working for you. If you need anything else just ask!

  • @glowshiftgauges thanks and also my water temp gauge wont work without disconnecting the original car heat gauge. Do i need a separate sensor for the water temp gauge to make them both work together. Thanks again

  • @1Tinman875 .

I do apologize,m this is a little bit of an older video. In our newer videos we show the probe being installed into the exhaust manifold by drilling and tapping it. We really appreciate your comment, keep them coming!

  • i thought you were suspossed to install the egt probe in the turbo UP pipe not the exhaust pipe?? I have read there is a 200 deg temp difference between the two and you need to read whats going into the turbo NOT out....

  • @1lckyfella

We are always looking for video suggestions, and constantly filming new videos. I will certainly pass this idea on, just stay tuned!

  • lets make one video for 1995-1999 mitsubishi eclipse. I just bought 3 gauges for it. A lot of people would wanna know how to install the gauges in that car. Thanks
