No cages here - just man, beast and lots of water.

  • I worked at Oceanworld and the diver instructors are fully trained in these situations and are continually revising to ensure maximum safety (although there is no complete guarantee of safety). Also, you forget that these are sharks that have been living in the aquarium for years, they are used to humans and are much more tame. There is also a no touching policy in the tank.

    And with the amount of sharks that enter human populated beaches, very very few result in attacks.

  • How can this be safe? Why do these sharks not attack divers? How can anyone's safety be guaranteed. An obvious question after reading about deadly shark attacks off the beaches of Australia. So how about an answer?

  • im traveling to australia in september and this is definetly on my top to do list..

    a picture next to 1 of those massive sharks is just about the greatest picture a person could ever have of themselves.
