I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep but before I could even sleep a wink Robert tapped me on my shoulder.
"Hey, Alex." He whispered.
"Yeah?"
"The reason why you vomited, it was because of Natalie and Kiyo, right?"
"Yeah, it was. I'm sorry you had to see that. These things that you were telling me were true, you weren't making this up," I looked at him. "and I didn't listen to you. I never did. Why did this have to happen to me? I just don't feel like I can get through anything without the thought that I was the one who caused all of this.."
"It wasn't your fault, you had nothing to do with this. We have to turn him in or he'll just keep going."
"You're right....." At that moment everything crashed down on me like a ton of bricks. Frank. He was next. "Shawn, please go the Tillamook County Hospital, we have to get to Frank.... Fast."
"But, your sister told me-"
"Never mind what she says, if we don't there quickly. Another person is going to be dead." His eyes looked at me through the rearview mirror, debating on whether or not he should go against whatever my sister had instructed him to do. He switched over to the right lane and preceded on driving to the hospital.
"Your sister is going to kill me." He voice was a low hum.
"She'll forgive you." I felt more clam and relaxed now, but the question was, did Kiyo already beat us to him. Robert grabbed my hand, squeezing it tightly. He was worried, just as worried as I was. I looked at him and grinned, a meek grin that didn't really surface onto my face. The cars and buildings pasts by us in a quick motion, making them blurred. The girl in the reflection of the window stared back at me, she wasn't blinded anymore, it was as if I had been in a cold and desolate cave and I hadn't seen the light. My soul felt free, I hadn't noticed that I'd been distancing myself away from my friends, the people that mean the most to me, Kiyo just had me under a spell. A spell that had forced me to capitulate to everything he would say. I could hear the ticking of the invisible clock. My heart was racing unable to maintain a steady rate, I squeezed Robert's hand tighter, probably cutting off his blood flow. A moving picture flashed through my mind playing what Kiyo was doing to Frank...

He had already checked-in at the patient information desk, he was headed towards Frank's room. His walking steady and in control, his eyes gazed over everyone smiling as he walked past them. He stopped in front of the room 397, the door was open. Frank was sleeping, he walked precariously over to his IV, reaching into his pocket he pulled out a small bottle of Diphenhydramine and a syringe. He leaned forward and lightly tapped Frank's face.
As Frank's eyes adjusted to the light, he cringed. Kiyo smiled at him. "Hello, Frank...."


My breathing was going hay wire, this thought that just came into my mind... What if it was really happening?
"....Alex? Alex? What's wrong?" Robert grabbed my shoulders.
"How far are we from the hospital?"
"Uh...about fifteen minutes."
I leaned forward. "Shawn how fast are you going?"
"Fifty-six. Why?"
"Drive faster, now."
"I don't think so, the speed limit is Fifty. I'm already going higher than the limit, plus if I even dare to go faster, My license is going to get revoked."
"Frank's life is worth it."
"For all we know, Alex. You're just imagining that he's going after Frank. I really need to take you to your sister-"
"No! Shawn, you're going to stay on this route to the hospital we are not turning back."
"Alex, calm down. We'll get there either way." Robert pulled me back. "Don't worry." My mind and body were not at ease, I needed proof. I won't just go off of what Robert and Shawn are saying. I slumped back in the seat defeated, the dark haunting clouds above made a loud thunderous noise, shortly afterwards heavy rainfall.....
"Great, now it's raining." Shawn mumbled to himself. The low humming of the windshield wipers and Shawn's sighing made me feel somewhat calmness. He pulled off to the left into heavy traffic. "Shit!" He banged his hands against the steering wheel.
"Alex, what did you see?"
I stared at Robert, his eyes deep in confusion. "I saw Kiyo with Frank and he had something that killed Tracey Briggs. It was so real."
"Remember, Alex. He couldn't have caught up with us that quick; he was still standing in the hallway when we left."
"Yeah, I guess youre right..." At that moment I stared out my side of the window a black car pulled up. My heart sank to my stomach. The driver side window was coming down, a gun emerged. "Shawn!, get down!" He did as I said and seconds later a shot fired. The glass shattered, and the black car sped off as the red light flashed to green.
"What the hell was that?" Shawn said as he gathered himself, I looked at Robert then back to Shawn.
"It was Kiyo."
