My flight from Buenos Aires to Sydney on board of a QANTAS Boeing 747.
This is the world's most southern flying route.
I've flown in early September and it was the begining of Spring in the South Hemisphere. The movie shows when I was on the South Pacific (Ross Sea), south of the Antarctic Polar Circle. The ocean was frozen because of the proximity to South Pole.

  • No I didn't. I was in the left size of the plane, looking south, and this route is the most southerly route in the world.

I've seen other aircrafts only when I was near Australian Coast, far from the pole.

  • Can you see the hole in the south pole?

  • @italodal I agree. I've flown JNB-SYD and by comparison, EZE-SYD hugs Antarctica like a mother hen!

The Southern Hemisphere air-routes offer much variety to many, and for me this video is a surprise... I'm luck to to the SCL-AKL route... but .. wow .. if it could be.... MEL-EZE or MEL-GRU... check that out!

    Many thanks!

  • Can you land on it? ;P

  • IMPRESIONANTE............

  • Did you see any other aircraft on this desolate aircraft highway?
