Velocipede Hand Car @ Santa Susana Depot Museum

SantaSusana Depot Museum docent Curt demonstrates how to use a Velocipede Hand Car during the Museum's 10 year Anniversary celebration last month of being open to the public. This vehicle was built in 1880 and was used by railroad officials to inspect portions of the railroad lines.
The Depot was built in 1903 is beautifully restored and visitors will be treated to displays of artifacts, photographs and reproductions such as the station agent's office.
A 53' x 25' scale model railroad layout is a must see!
