The night of the tornado i was in cottage grove and the hail was so bad it was hitting my car and flying off it about 20ft. then it got so thick the window just looked white. As soon as I heard it hit my parents street on williams i drove out there. I had to pull over like a mile down the road because traffic was stopped. so i ran to get to my parents house and there was my dad in the middle of the road trying to get people to turn around because of all the trees and powerlines down.

I think of this day every year on my wedding anniversary. I got married that weekend and all my stuff was at my mom's on Williams dr. they had the roads blocked off and wouldn't let anyone in because of all the gas leaks. They finally escorted me to the house when I threatened to canoe down the river to get my dress and other things for my wedding.
