I came to want to play this map on Nightmare! This is because I was touched off by a video that exist on youtube.
In this map, luck is necessary above all! When I got the blue key, I was always annoyed by Arch-viles' attack. I could do nothing but pray that they fight with other enemies.
It is very difficult for me to kill a cyberdemon with two shots of BFG9000 on Nightmare! I concentrated on killing a cyberdemon quickly with three shots of BFG9000.

    1 .- that in the archvile 0:40 incinerated but do not you attack?

    2 .- Why would you use to CyberDemon always 4 bfg shots, if you know who dies with 3 shots?

    1. A vile took an attack from an enemy before vile's attack to me was finished, and the vile changed the target. It means monster-infighting happened. If it had occured well, I would have been hunted by viles. Therefore, I said that much luck is necessary.

    2. Holding a fire key was just easier for me. There are enough cells on NM even if you waste them.

    1. I belonged to a project for the remake of plutonia, and I made two maps.

    2. Actually, not a direct shot of BFG but blast damage depends on the range. You might not keep your eyes on the vile before the blast occured. Anyway, please read BFG's page on Doom wiki (Google for it). I can't write the behavior here because it would be long.

    The project has already been finished on April, 2011. The project's name is "Plutonia: Revisited Community Project" (PRCP). You can download it in doomworld/idgames. Also, I uploaded two videos about PRCP.

    By the way, I basically don't answer my private.

    The cyberdemon's HP doesn't depend on the difficulty, and BFG's blast damage depends on a distance from a player to an enemy. Also, imp's and caco's fireballs are 50% faster than usual, and hellknight's and baron's projectiles 33% faster on Nightmare, but the other enemies attacks don't change.

    They are written in doom wiki. You should read them well.

  • I love all the Doom's games, they are the only games that the enemies fight betweem them, because they are... DEAMONS! I love it!

  • @thebestjumperofall It's from Final Doom for MS-DOS and Windows 95 (DOS version's much better.) It's a secret level that can by accessed in map 32 of PLUTONIA.WAD, one of the two IWADs that come with Final Doom, the other being TNT.WAD.

  • which level is this? I had DOOM on a playstation 1, but never had to go through this one. Is it a bonus level or such a thing?
