yeah i know man it seems to happen to all the heavy metal stars i dont know why but lets hope that they can pull through i know in tonis case lymphoma is treatable because i have a friend whos had it for 15 years now though she does have to inject everyday to boost her immune system but lets hope toni is well enough to continue with the black sabbath tour it just seems a coincidence that this has happened just as they reformed

i have to admit deep purple without blackmore and lord in it today sucks and ians voice is nowhere near what it used to be also sad news i heard today about toni iommi being diagnosed with cancer hope he can pull through because he fucking rocks godfather of metal

@shredmaster100 You're an idiot. HE fucked up a great rock band? And you know this how? Based on the evidence I see, Ian Gillian was pretty fucked up on stage much of the time. That can't have been easy to work with. I love Ian too, but there are too many dynamics at work here for you (as a bystander) to blame Ritchie.

@shredmaster100 Um....no. All his work is great, and if you listen to Blackmore's Knight, he does some really cool guitar work. Honestly, his "best work" spans his entire career. Stargazer has an amazing solo, Burn has an amazing solo, Possum Goes to Prague is freaking amazing.
