Hovind's doctorate was in "Christian Education" from the Patriot Bible University which is not accredited by any recognized accreditation agency. He has no scientific qualifications. His dissertation has no title, no TOC, outlines 16 chapters but contains only 4, has no bibliography, and is full of errors such as "geological epic" for "geological epoch", and "centrifical force" for "centrifugal force". It contains no original research, the basis on which a PhD is supposed to be awarded.

More to the point, you are probably right in that he is probably preaching up a storm in there, although unfortunately most of what he says is BS. He has the ability to manipulate crowds easily (just like Hitler), so he probably has converted quite a few misinformed prisoners to his particular brand of Christianity.

Where on G-d's green EARTH do u guys get the CRAZY idea that 'Kent Hovind is getting raped in jail'!? Literally, those r lies—ALL of it! What is basically happening: Brother Hovind is only sitting in jail, writing letters, probably sharing the Gospel with others in there (probably just about has converted the whole prison), & is yet 2 GET OUT! (A lot like what happened 2 the Apostle Paul when he was imprisoned several times.)
