Severe Weather broke out across Central Florida on April 14th 2009 due to an approaching Cold Front. Tornado and Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were posted for Orange, Marion, Volusia etc. counties. This particular line of storms caught Central Florida off guard. Hail, High Wind, and Doppler indicated tornados were reported. These storms also dumped 6" of rain in North Central Florida (Gainesville)

  • I was in school when this happened. We had to hide in hallways twice that day.

  • I was on the way to Magic Kingdom which is a Disney Park and when i was in the car they were going on about a Tornado on the radio saying theres a Tornado watch i did not no how far the Tornado was going to be from where i was and the Tornado did not come anywhere where i was!

  • i was in Kissimmee that week. i was completely flipping out. I live in VT and we hardly EVER have tornadoes.

  • i live in oviedo, weather was horrible too. xD
