@carrieanne55 The spirit is there because it is the power of God, not because it is a person. The spirit is only a power/force there are right now only 2 in the godhead/god family.
Elohim is a uniplural noun, like the terms church or family. The uniplural concept pertains to a common class of two or more constituents. Elohim refers to the God Family or the God Kingdom. Thus, God is a Family—not just one individual!

how do u know they were added? thnks..I have a chart of scriptures that Attribute God as doing something and being the ONLY sole one that did something, but then speak of Yahshua doing the exact same thing ALONE or by himself or being the ONLY one to do it. I don;t profess to have a clear understanding of it all, But I cannot read those scriptures and reconcile that he is NOT Yahweh in the Flesh. How can two different people be the only one to do the EXACT Same thing - especially a 1 time event

1 John 5:7-8 was added later in the bible. So that verse dont count. Elohim means family And right now there are 2 members in the family. the father and christ. The holy spirit is not a person, but the power of god

@SanderDolce Who told you that elohim mean family? It means god. You obviously have no knowledge of Hebrew except you read some stupid book that told you that it means family. It doesn't. Also If you read the Tanach, There are 3 that are there. The Father, The Word, and the spirit - all over the bible unless you don't have eyes to see or have a doctrine

obviously you are one that uses verses of the bible out of context and for your own advantage. Those who are Jews keep the Commandments of God, His Feast days, and know Yeshua was the Messiah based on scripture. You are just a false judge.

Shalom, Either you are a Christian who doesn't believe that Messiah was God manefest in the Flesh and that a man can die for your sins, or you are in Judaism and don't believe in the Messiah and can't see when the Word appears in TaNacK.
