Ma Dad sang this tae ma mam at the end o every party i can remember up untill his passing, my mother's name is Mary, but being so young i never realized how important this song was to him, i'll never forget the last time i heard him sing this song, at one of our parties, acappella, everyone just seemed to shut-up at the same time as he started singing it, lookin at ma mum as he sang!! al never forget that!!

Hi Alex- I am sure it must be you from Dunoon.
This chance find of a beautiful rendering takes me back to Argyll 20 years plus ago where I was in practice but also joined you on a few occasions with my "part-time" job as guitar player/vocalist.
