Just laugh it off and keep going lady! Ha! I know you will and have since this was uploaded. Very nice work. Richard can make you a jig/platform to lay your pieces on that hold them at the right angle and do away with that clamp entirely. Just a recommendation from a master woodworker. You got a master ratrod builder/woodworker, I am sure he can build you a jig out of wood.

lol well the first lesson which hopefully you have learned is keep all body parts out of the direct line of fire, its always better to use a work bench with these tools than it is to use only your hands to hold the atricle that you will be nailing, you got nailed!, (i was in construction, building houses and opperating heavy equipment, its always better to use tools smarter, hubby forgot to give you those lessons i guess but from the looks of it he didn't get those lessons either? LOL
