el Danzon de Veracruz Puerto

In the central zocalo of the Port of Veracruz there are dances two or more times a week. Chairs are put out and you can sit down and wait for someone to ask you to dance, or you can walk to someone else and put out your hand.

I am fascinated by the dance steps, the gracefulness and the sheer pleasure of the dance. The bearing of the dancers is excellent as well, with straight backs and solid shoulders. You can't slump and dance well.

I can watch all night.

Veracruzana hasta los huesos, adoro el danzón!! si encuentro a uno de unos 30´s de guayabera y bailando danzón me caso jjajajajajaja..perodón que ya estoy casada!!!...que baile tan bonito, elegante y con mucha cadencia y ritmo...viva VERACRUZ
