  • This was my favorite speech from Freedom Fest. David Boaz challenged my innate pessimism. (I didn't even realize how pessimistic I had become.) The truth is, we really are living in a time of change - not Obama-style change, but a new commitment to the values of liberty.

  • I really like David Boaz

  • Your right, the older audience here is more likely due to the fact that its Vegas.

  • Boaz is always a brilliant speaker. I wish he did more TV interviews and such.

  • just to let you know, I and nearly 100 other young people from around the world were attending seminars in Michigan organized by the Foundation for Economic Education. For the summer, I believe over 700 young people attended 9 seminars... double the previous record. Then think about the other seminars that IHS, Cato and Mises organized... and young people definitely had enough "freedom fest" of their own. Dont worry about us, soon enough we will be doing our part!
