Very old Bavarian/Austrian Tradition - Perchtenlauf

This is an old tradition they do it before christmas time and they will do it again at the end of winter in a mask-dance. This is to dislodge the bad ghosts of the dark time in winter and to let begin the spring time. The first time it was celebrated is known about the 16th century. @BlondMedicin Gibt´s auch in Reichenhall, Laufen Ainring, Berchtesgaden! Also ned alles gleich für rein österreichisch erklären, was es im gesamten Alpenraum gibt!
