From what i see, the balls should be 1 finger width apart when theyre straight on the rail. is that the ideal distance ? make it easier to aim perhaps

That depends on how fat your finger is. It also depends on shot speed.
I'd say that for medium speed shots, 1/4"-3/8" is about right.

The high speed show this very well, I shoot this shot periodically... but usually will lay up with a half ball hit leaving my opponent to bank.. (depending on the score in the set and their skills of course.) Great stuff on here Dr. Dave!

Your videos are great :) I just started watching them, but i will watch them all for sure.
But i need to find it chrononically ^^ Because some of them are 'a', some of them are 'b' ,and with numbers. I need to find them in order ;]
