Over 20 years I've collected historical images showing
the sacramental nature of Psilocybin and the relevant
though usually less sacred depiction of other Psychedelics...
Here is an image catalog of them - see how many symbols
and images of sacraments you can spot!

  • Great video :)

Although we tend to disagree on interpretations, we very much agree that sacred mushrooms and other entheogenic plants and substances are central in many of humankind's mythologies.

I wish though in some of your videos you would provide sources for your research so that people interested could explore this for themselves. You know in the info section under the video?

Yes of coarse I understand your basic disagreement. Freedom as at least two

    definitions...

I know it would be easier for the view if all was laid out plain and they could look

these things up for themselves... But life only gives me so much time. Here

are a few of the sources, I'll name them by the time frame.

Second 24 is a Jewish mural that the Christians found acceptable when this temple

was turned into a Church. I found this image in a book on art history in a NJ library.

    At Second 40

We have Bodhisattva trees from Burma (now Myanmar).

Second 54: Christian Murals from Gorm, Cappidocia (sp?) in Turkey.

The houses that these paintings are in are shaped in mushroom forms... This

shot was taken by my friend and step dad Ali.

At Minute 1:02 we have images from Nimrud's temple in the city of Nimrud (dedicated to Biblical Nimrod/Hercules).

More images of the sacred trees can be found by goggling "Nimrud Palace" and clicking on the

  • Greetings! Hope you're doing well, Matt.

For everyone: Identification for one of the images:

The mural from :45 to :57 is from the Yilanli Kilise ("Snake Church") in Goreme in Cappadokia, Turkey. The frescoes are post-iconoclastic (likely dating to the early 11th c.). The figures are St. George of Lydda (center) and St. Theodore of Amasea (right). I'm not sure who the Saint on the left is. Sts. George and Theodore are attacking a dragon/serpent from which the church gets its designation.

  • Awesome video!!!!!!! I have a painting of Jesus at the last supper eating magic mushrooms with his 12 discipiles. Me and my wife worked together to paint it but she did most of it....I think it might be the only mushroom/last supper painting in the world...If I had the money I would collect more magic mushroom art...........Matt thank you so much for sharing this.............have a great day Matt!!!!!!!!!
