I finally got myself an SV650 Gen 1. I wish I didn't sell my old SV.

  • lol i just got the ZX10R shock joke hehe good stuff

  • just1ofgod - this bike actually has the ZX10r rear shock. The SV650 will take a straight swap from a ZX10r.

  • hey there, i was wondering if the SV was a good beginners bike? it's that or the gs500f what would you say from riding it?

  • Mandorelian7 - the SV650 is a terrific beginner's bike. I think it's also lighter than the GS500f, which helps a ton.

  • Hey "Spence" lol what kind of video editor do you use?? im thinking about joining in the vlogging community myself ??? get at me when you can thanks bro you are an inspiration and you tube legend

  • I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0. You can download a 30 day trial version from Adobe. Make sure you download Quicktime 7 from Apple.

  • the stock suspension on the SVs is pretty crappy to start with.

  • Despite the damage, its still a beautiful machine!

  • Brilliant !

  • Yah, I know what you mean...shouldn't have sold my old SVS. I missed it so much that I bought one again, except its a nekkid curvy!

  • hmm i miss my curvy :(

  • Yeah but if you race the fz...you end up with Zx and gsxr's that will blow it outta the water...now...the fz is much more smooth because of engin config tho

  • dont forget the new yamaha FZ6R

  • yeah thats pretty sweet.

so did you buy this bike?

  • Hi Robert, your old sv is in California now. Hai shipped it to LA, he went there for his post-doc.

  • Gs is a little underpowered...Sv is great to learn on and to progress with...Linear power...Very smooth...And if you ever decide to...You can race the Sv!
