Written and Directed by Tim Burr
Hands down, Constapingle is the most anticipated movie of modern times. With an enormous budget of roughly $50, Oregon's bottom actors, and a muscular, yet intelligent director, Constapingle will go down in history as the greatest film ever made.
The movie is too fantastic to summarize, but the Dali Lama might have summed it up best.
"Constapingle is like ice melting from a cold case of Hamm's beer. The setting takes place in modern day Portland, Oregon, home of Tim P. Burr (not to be confused with "Tim R. Burr" the famous director). Tim is no ordinary Joe, he is a former comedian known for his strong wit and perfect comedic timing. However, due to circumstances out of Tim's control, this hunk is now believed to be unfunny and gay. These days Tim can no longer find a date and is haunted by his demons of past and present. With his social and professional career down the toilet, Tim has hit rock bottom. He is constapated... he is single, and the only place to turn to is his nutty shrink and Constapingle." - Dali Lama
I find this film engrossing. The manifestations of greatness are apparent to even the most casual observer. I, who watch film for a living, found a refreshing sense of the "ART" infused back into a genre that had become stilted and seemed to pander to my increasing cynicism. I eagerly await part 2, I could watch it now, but instinctivley I know that, like a fine brandy, these films must be savored and thought through. I encourage all those who have not seen this fine work to do so.
