Hey shin, how come you kept doing the cr.mp xx tatsu and then nothing? Were you hoping for a quick stand and then a mashed SRK? You did it like 4 or 5 in this match and couldn't figure out why?

@djfujiyama Those are execution errors. I was practicing on Xbox live but the tourney is offline PS3. Those areas of nothing is supposed to sweeps but I was hitting the button too early.

i also used to bait techs with ex tatsu but at the end of the day (if you got 2 bars) srk is the best option

@MrSuperlollo I understand what you're saying but for me in the Cammy matchup I would rather save bar for a defensive DP FADC when she is applying pressure, so I use ex tatsu to punish throw techs. Technically DP is superior but ex tatsu fits my matchup plan better.

thing is, he was actually trying to tech thow, you don't even have to use a bar...the good thing about akuma's srk is that it's confirmable.

Also, blocked ex tatsu is NOT safe on block...i'm pretty sure cammy might even ultra you. Not to mention that in button mash fighter 4 ex tatsu gets randomly stuffed by c.lk, c.lp and c.mp

@MrSuperlollo The DP still uses 2 bars if blocked. Ex tatsu done deep enough is very hard to punish except for a handful of characters. Getting hit out of stuff with normals spam is simply a reality of the game. I just accept it.

@ShinAkuma204 lol thanks for the clarification dude. I usually just mimic what the pros do and it'd be hilarious if you saw me one day just continually crouching after the lk tatsu hahaha. "Fuji wtf are you doing?" "Well shin does it like this and he wins tournaments..." :P

@K1llaSasa Yeah I can only imagine having never been in a serious tournament before. It seems like you were doing really despite being jilted. Good shit anyway man! And I figured you probably did know about that OS but just in case you know? Hahaha. Take care man!

@doodoostank Yeah I know about that OS, didn't practice it though so it wasn't coming out very well and plus I was on tilt so I just wasn't thinking straight. The differences between these matches and the ones the night before are basically night and day, I was out of sorts from the end of the first match of this onward
