I agree totally with you David. I saw Grace, David, et al several times. Joplin was great but had nothing on the performance of this amazing vocalist style well illustrated at Woodstock for example. This song also fit well into the culture I lived and what we were doing at the time. The references to Stranger In a Strange Land are well placed also.
grace slick in the late 60's early 70's had THE most sexy voice and persona of any woman alive. except for maybe catherine deneuve. [but she's french and so an unfair comparison.] this is one of the most provocative songs written in the era. thank you david crosby.
