  • Could you post what you do for your practice material? Goddamn, I wanna play like you.

  • @AirHendrix91 I practice my scales and arpeggios moving up and down the neck.... I practice chromatic runs for speed and picking exercises.... I never sit in front of the TV without a guitar in hand.... that way, while watching the BCS final game last night I got 3 hours of rehearsal/practice/noodling in.

  • @AirHendrix91 Also work on hammer-ons, and pull-offs which can give a speedier, legato sound.... mix major and minor scales with some pentatonic licks, some blues scales, some arpeggios and most important know your basic chord and scale theory and ALL you notes on the neck. You can't get where you want to go without knowing the names of all the roads on which you travel. Hope this helps... good luck!

  • haha - good ear on the Boston solo! I also am amazing at how cheap these amps are... I think i overpaid at $275 hehe

Do u have any videos of u playing?

  • Thanks Man! Nice to be appreciated!

  • Fender Pro Roc 1000 head into a 1986 4-12 Marshall Cab with stock 75 wt Celestions Running through a grey DOD 250 Overdrive thru the loop of a Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor pedals.

Pickups are a Seymour Duncan Invader in the Bridge, a Fender American Standard stock pickup in the middle and a Dimarzio YJM-HS-3 in the neck.

  • @XavierSky i have heard about the verb being accidentaly mounted backwards from factory in some of these amps

  • SUHHHWEEET PLAYIN'!!!

    That is all...

  • I might be the only one who noticed, but you're playing a BOSTON solo in the middle (A Man I'll Never Be).. nice work bro!

I bought a used Roc Pro head a few years ago for 200 bucks and played it thru a Behringer 412 cab. For an inexpensive rig the sound was sensational, and LOUD! I ran some pedals thru the effects loop, added some reverb, and I sounded huge. Can't believe how cool these amps are, how cheap they are, and how so few people know about these!

Nice job with the Yngwie stuff too.

  • shit dude you can play
