this is my next purchase i just wish someone would make one of these without the fisheye lens that look may appeal to some but i prefer just a straight forward look but i like the portability and all the different mounts and such too. i'm looking at getting the 1080P version but i guess i'll have to find something to defeat the fisheye.

@daddytech The Kodak Playsport has a much longer focal length, shoots 1080p, and is waterproof. Not to mention the standard tripod mount makes it a better camera to me than the GoPro that has limitations with that housing.

@BetterGoPro I like the size and portability of the gopro and all the mounts too but i can't get past that whole fisheye lens and i like the playsport but i've had a bunch of friends that have had a lot of trouble with those cameras i have a Canon T2i, Canon 300HS, Flip ultra HD Gen3, and was looking to add a go pro HD to the mix i can get one of those for under $200.00 I don't think the playsport would be a good option for a replacement, i like the image on the Zi8 but it's not water proof
