oh sorry its because i saw another vid witch sed that the smoke alarms didnt go off hats y asked the council didnt test them out

they did test them and they were making lost of noise.....you could heard them from the street..

in this situation the council did put some detectors but i think they never test the smoke detectors out

I am unsure if real system exists to ensure safety standards in newly constructed buildings (for the residents) or its just on papers? Also there is a business where people buy old residences, renovate them and put them on sale. Such renovation is carried out through low cost small contractors. I have doubt if safety standards are even considered for the safety of residents. HSE needs to look into this matter.
