1996 Trans Am 4th gen Shaker Hood Install

I installed this shaker hood on my 96' Trans Am this past summer 2010. The shaker is from a 77' TA but I'm switching to a 78' TA style and will be building a custom air box and make the intake funtional on it

did this actually shake much and how was it mounted?

@94CUTLASSVERT Since LT1 engines run so smooth, it doesn't shake as much as the old 70's did at idle but when you hit the gas, it torques over great. It looks best when the traction control kicks in..shakes like crazy then. :) I custom made some brackets to mount it. It's hard to explain without pictures. If you're planning on doing one, send me your email and I can try and take somep pictures for you.

@TheACguy1 I got the bird decal from a website called autografics com They have great prices and very good quality. Every decal on both my cars (except for the hood bird on my 99') came from them. A few stripes from them will spice your car up. :)

where did you get the Firebird decal that was on there before?

my car is black with t-tops, anything you would suggest i buy for it?

@michaels6speed That will be coming soon. :) Right now the car is covered in salt and it's 4 degrees out so can't wash the car just yet. Probably in about a month.
