I also grew up in Delaford in a small house on a hill. How nostalgic to see all the old places of my childhood. Pedestrian crossings in front of the primary schools: not in my day!! Live in UK now.

I grew up Delaford myself, the house with the red roof on the main road right after the pink building. I miss Delaford so bad. Oh, and that dog is ok, happens all the time. You can barely go more than 20mph on those twisties.

Is this where the old Delaford Plantation was back in the late 1700's to early 1800's ? I'm trying to figure out who the owners were around 1790 to 1810 - possibly Sir William Young ? Is there a good source of local history or a museum that would have answers for those kind of questions?
