  • It is Jay on the bass, Bryan on the lead, and neither on lead vocals. That is Merl Bryck on lead vocals. Thats one of the reasons why this band was so special-3 good vocalists. jay wrote most of the songs, Bryan had that rippin' lead guitar, and Merl could really sing. But Jay was the John Lennon of the band, definitely. I am from their home town, and it's a shame they never got the respect they deserved. Long live the Pikes!!!!!

  • man this song has some rippin bass

  • Glen Royer here, just want to say that the Northern Pikes were THE band of the day hands down!!! they got signed on the strengh of their great live show and the catchy songs, case closed. They were and still are in my opinion one of the BEST bands to ever come out of Canada and for me personally ( and i am sure i speak for most if not all of the members of Greenhouse and New Concept) were an inspiration for our OWN live performances and songwriting back in the day.Thank you guys,your still #1

  • i hate how canadian bands are soooooo underrated. some shitty pop singers like adele or bruno mars are sooo "popular" but their music sucks. Fuck shitty modern pop music!

  • Very awesome and underrated band. Riffs and general ideas stolen. Much replicated. Huh;...

  • my dad produced these guys for a period of time ! :}

  • I have always loved this song. I saw them live, opening up for Peter Frampton many years ago and I thought they sounded really good. I am also surprised they were never really heard of outside of Canada.

    BTW, the lead singer in this video always reminded me of Emelio Estevez in the Breakfast Club. Just saying...

  • I seen them a few times in clubs. They never got "respect" because their live shows had poor vocal quality. I love the pikes don't get me wrong. They just didn't get it done live... and it cost them.

  • Give me a billy idol bass line.....and steve stevens guitar riffs...

  • I forgot how good this tune was -

  • The Pikes were underrated.

  • @Royfokker73 ..my thoughts exactly
