As someone that has struggled with depression practically my whole life (I'm 32) this really hit home for me. I have done/felt/thought most of what you mentioned in this poem and the one thing I have always wished over the years is for someone to simply understand that it is not just being sad...it is so much more. Thank you for this SO much for this. Keep writing man. Peace and blessings to you.
