  • the ramsi are not well liked at all....i just returned from the solomons and like to ask why these people hate australians and generally the white man so much....thank god for my greek background which allowed me and my buddy to cool off a few tricky situations we were in

  • @peterolato Since 2003-2011 Australia has had a 'Regional Assistance Mission' with Australian troops on the ground to help in the Soloman Islands. There is now peace becasue of this. In 2010-2011 Australia will spend 225 million dollars in development assistance to help them out. Australia is trying to help

  • Australia should be spending a lot of money to help Solomon Is. A lot of Australian companies have been extracting natural resources in this country for years, so the Australians are merely giving back what rightly belonged Solomon Is.

  • blame england why are they poor if they live in paradice why do they serve rich white people when they didn't a few years ago that bitch in england has to go down

she don't have much time left

  • @ Strugglingman1 Who are you to blame others without knowing what caused the crisis? You better get your facts right before pointing out your fingers to other people. Harold Keke was blamed because for other reasons(on South Guadalcanal) and not the fact the war was started...choose your words wisely before you start putting out peoples' name...no hard feelings just a thought

  • bullshit journalism; solomon islands is "NOT" the poorest nation in the pacific...

  • mathew wale...now he's in the gov't..he's never been heard now ...money is killing him...hehehe

  • @getmoneystayreal That is also a really pis weak comment that shows how little you understand. Building schools, directly helping communities and getting told first hand from the Solomon Islanders that they want Australia helping out really invalidates that cheap shot. Are they thankful for RAMSI's (Australia's) helping hand? You bet! When you give people back their dignity in a respectful manner while respecting their culture you cant wipe the smile of their faces!!!

  • @gele4fucke Yeah, that sounds great! Having worked extensively for the RAMSI I saw many Guale and Malaitans regain their self esteem and safety because of the Australian led mission. Do you really think the Cubans have the resources and cash to help out? It's not about Australia or any of the other pacific partners it's about helping the Solomon Islands. Mi ting ting iu ni save anysamting!!!

  • It's all about stealing a nations wealth for the global leaders who run the governments and are more powerful than any nation. These people would like a 'one world government' and this is how they set about getting it, like underhanded murdering liars, no amount of suffering is too great for them, all they want is to steal all the minerals, gold, gems and oil. The foreign governments and global industries will destroy the land for everyone. I wish independence & internal harmony for ALL Solomons
