Xenomorph - Amiga Game (1/6)

A quick playthrough of the amiga game Xenomorph.

I used to play this game alot on amiga, although I had never managed to complete it. I'd gotten as far as the second level of the lower sewers (The one with the huge green blobs) but had never managed to find the next ladder. I was also hindered by the occasional invincible blob enemy that you find.

I mapped out each floor in search of all of the items in the game, and although I did eventually find the assault rifle, it would appear that the automatic pistol and fire extinguisher items in the manual don't seem to exist.

However it has messed about with the formatting a bit so all the columns are too long, making everything look stretched instead of square.

Despite what the manual says and pictures on the box show, it appears that the grey square on the left used for "Special Items" is not functional, nor are you able to choose a different character from Griffin.

As this game lacks any music apart from the initial music, i've added some of the ambient music from System Shock 2 as it seems to suit the game quite well.

Is that the music form System Shock 2 rec. deck?

@arjenmiddelb It is. The game itself has no music other than the initial theme which is then repeated as an ending theme.

I've put the system shock 2 music in the background as otherwise the video's would be a bit harder to watch through, and the system shock 2 music is perfect. I still need to get around to playing the original system shock again at some point.

Not sure, I always thought it was a different story - Maybe one influenced the other?
