St. Louis Good Friday Tornado - April 22, 2011 - Ferguson

Footage of the damage/aftermath that took place in Ferguson, MO from the Good Friday EF4 Tornado on April 22, 2011. Several people were injured by flying debris, but remarkably no fatalities were occurred. The EF4 tornado is the strongest tornado that has occurred in St. Louis County for 44 years. You have to go back to January 24th, 1967 to find a tornado that was as strong.

It's so amazing that you posted this. I live in Ferguson, off West Florissant and amazingly my home was untouched. However, I have friends who aren't alright. I have friends who's homes are completely destroyed. I never would have though that this would have happned in Ferguson. Thank you so much for posting this because not alot of new crews have covered what you have.

It is hard to believe that no one was killed after seeing all the damage on this video. The lady at the end of the video said it best. It is a blessing.

i went by lil caesars yesterday of the day before & saw all around that hood...i saw this one car full of bricks & a big asz tree on top of a green truck

great video, i live in IL. i watched CH 2 and CH 11 news for those four hours straight that they were simulcasting (8pm-12am). while i didn't get any damage, i still got in the bath tub for a while because of the concerns. we did get the heavy rains and winds in the Roxana area. but that tornado that hit about 5 years ago with 98 Mph winds did knock down trees in my area then.
