Data locks out the rest of the Enterprise crew by imitating Picard, and entering the ACCESS CODE FROM HELL! Must be nice to have a random number generator in your head. From Star Trek: The Next Generation, Ep. 4x03: Brothers.

  • @jpelletier03 That's just the thing. They knew the next step would be the crew to use brute force attempts. He probably only needed a short amount of time, so this would be the minimum amount of characters to inhibit a bruce force attack with the Enterprise's computer. Probably takes a few million years with our most powerful suprecomputers today.

  • I'm making this my password

  • I like how he's done but the computer is still typing

  • Now I know why modern passwords only allow a certain amount of characters...

  • Well it's a good thing they have Professor Janek's black box.
