Saban doesn't own this. This is made by Tatsunoko production in 1970s

You're right about Tatsunoko but Saban's Entertainment dubbed and released this in the US/UK during the early 90s.

@boffinme80 This is even more intense than Filmation's Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night! I watch the entire show on Fogelogel's account. The final few episodes were especially troubling.

@ghfdfhfdndxhcg Disney are wimps. Tatsunoko have the guts to show violence and abuse. This is what the real Pinocchio was like in the book. This is MUCH closer to the book than the Disney version was.
