I started telemarking last year at age 15. upgraded to new stuff and can't wait to get out on the powder. I used my old eqiupment last weekend so I am pumped

I have upgraded him. He has plastic boots donated by a fellow tele skier. Also we got him twintip skiis and telebindings that release. I think they have already saved me a trip to the hopital.

what kind of ski's does he have now? you should let him upgrade from leather boots

He had just graduated to bigger faster skis. They were OK but he wanted to try out what dad and his buddies were doing. The timing was perfect as we didn't need his old skis anymore. I took off the downhill bindings and put on some old cable bindings. He started out in his moms heavy duty leather boots and the rest is history. He never did put on those heavy racing downhill skis again.

thanks for the comment. Colton is 14 now and a much better telemark skier. He spends a lot of time in the snowboard park practicing jumps and landed a few 360's last year. When we are lucky enough to get fresh snow he joins his dad in the trees and powder
