ANCA Chairman Ken Hachikian: U.S. House Passage of H.Res.306 Sets a Precedent

Yerkir Media Foreign Affairs correspondent and CNN International contributor Gayane Avetisyan speaks with Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) Chairman Ken Hachikian about the significance of U.S. House passage of H.Res.306 - a resolution urging Turkey to Safeguard its Christian Heritage and to Return confiscated Church Properties.

H.Res.306 was introduced in June, 2011, spearheaded by Representatives Ed Royce (R-CA) and Howard Berman (D-CA). On July 20th, the House Foreign Affairs Committee adopted an abridged version of the measure as an amendment to the State Department Authorization Bill with a vote of 43 to 1 -- the same version that was passed by the House on December 13th.
