Q&A received a range of different questions from punters all over the country.
Should we send Belinda Neal to the SAS? This question captured the punters main concern for this weeks show. The controversy surrounding Neals big day out had the punters, on one hand, questioning the importance of politicians behaviour outside their work environment and, on the other hand, questioning the role of the media in hyping-up the story. Other than the Neal issue, punters took interest in the fact that the Defence Minister Joel Fitzgibbon was on the panel. Many wanted to know specifics about military purchases and their benefits for defending the nation. Further questions concerned military culture and the inclusion of women in sectors of the defence department. The government funding of public and private schools also featured strongly among the questions sent in for this weeks show.
