@Acefychan its because he was using a different kind of earplugs, and without realizing, he starting using a different growl technique, so now that he knows, he switched back to his other earplugs :)

I wish people would stop going ON AND ON about Mike's growls...he's a legendary musician, not a doubt one about it, but fuck's sake people, he's only human

It's a shame his growls are sounding so weird, I really hope it's temporary. I can figuratively hear his thoughts at 4:32, something along the lines of "OH GADS NO". It's funny though, if you take a step back and pretend as if some random dude is singing on this video, the growls are quite amazing after all. We're just used to even higher Akerstandards!

@jth1414 I noticed it aswell. Made me sad really, and reluctant to purchase this dvd. His growls are poor indeed compared to earlier. I feel sorry for Michael, and I hope it's just temporarily. But Heritage should be interesting even without the growls.
