How do we, as private citizens seeking justice, approach the many unjust laws existing today? What is the best way to act in order to ensure that the harms of these laws are minimized and that they are eventually repealed without bringing harm on oneself or those for whom one cares? Mr. Stolyarov explains how one can ethically approach the different types of unjust laws.

Sincerely,
Gennady Stolyarov II

  • obeying unjust laws is never acceptable to me. if you feel a law is unjust and you aren't doing something about it, you are not doing any good

  • "An individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for the law" MLKjr
