Rib in big waves (Sea state 5- Rough) Jumping completely out of water at some points.

A big rib (around 8 metres) in big waves, the waves are around 2 plus metres, they might not look it but that is due to the big zoom i had to use to film the rib (around 45X) so you only see the tops of the waves, but i can assure you that the waves were hitting up to 2 metres very often and once or twice reaching nearly 3 metres. The sea state is around 4 or 5 and the rib is a inboard powered unidentified boat, i assume around 8 or so metres with around 300 or so hp. Any clues as to the name of this rib please do share.

bollocks this wawes are not 2m... and o-put the trim down... i survive gale nord wind storm 160km/h with apex17 5.35 rib with 70ps engine...

@DJsonnyANTWERPEN I wasnt driving, its not my boat but i agree he should put the time down and is driving it very badly. I was out in a kayak half an hour before taking the video and the waves were two metres....

I've done this before but with a smaller RIB going 30 knots.

I am sure you have, this isnt me driving the boat. The waves were much bigger than the video suggests, i was out in a kayak in them for a while before i filmed this and they were reaching 2 metres and hitting up to 3 on the biggest waves i encountered (i stayed close to shore the whole time so i dont know what it was like in the channel) and this is filmed with 45X zoom with my camera so the rib was far out. But it was badly driven in my opinion. I could have got my boat going better than that.

@MrTrudac no,pitty. i was to much concentrated on catching the waves in write angle and with write speed...it was hell.one moment boat pass over wave and was airborne and second we were in black hole of the sea,surrounded with waves and water.and north wind picks up the top of wave and make like water curtain of like foam..crazy the beautiful blue adriattic sea can change in something like this...
