Completing the fifth level of Finale taking only one of the time capsules is relatively easy on the Superior Interactive remake, but did you know that it can also be done on the original BBC version? It's highly luck-dependent as you need the first monster to behave very precisely: it can't get too close to you, as you need space to grab the diamonds and earth, but it can't be too far away either, or the rock can easily fail to kill it. After that, the only difficult part is the rock puzzle before the last transporter, which must be done by an optimum route as shown here so that Repton can put the connecting rock in place ahead of the spirits.
The other interesting thing about this level is that, if it is loaded into Repton Around the World, The Life of Repton or Repton Thru Time, because of the adjustment that was made to spirit behaviour, one of the spirits in the top area will cage immediately (opening access to the time capsule and making this challenge much easier!) See LordTriax's video of this level for a demonstration, and see my video of Repton 3 Now Level 7 for a much fuller discussion of this phenomenon.
The music for this video is "An die Freude" from Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.
A fine companion piece to LordTriax's route through the same level. It's changed a little bit, since I saw it hasn't it

Just a little, and not deliberately. I found I had completely forgotten how I did the rock puzzle before the last transporter and couldn't reconstruct it, so I came up with what I think might be a better route anyway.
