Continued - Look at the end of the video. The man has the weight of 3 men on him and is still struggling, even after being tased. Imagine if they tried to take him down from his feet rather than just keeping him down after he was knocked down by the taser.
A man in the video even says "How's he's still fighting them off." 6:55
While the taser may have been fatal in this case, statistically it is safer than the alternative. Before the taser you got hit with a stick to comply (which has obvious risks), and if you made a scary movement (reaching into your jacket or behind your back) that could be confused with drawing a weapon.. you got shot.
I totally disagree. What you trying to say is that 4 guys would have a problem with puting one old guy to the ground... Come on! Be realistic! I think that you have watched too many movies with Jean Claude Van Damme... Multiple tasing in this situation was not necessary at all!!! They could easily put him down to the ground. This is what happens when people get the power. They just seek for an opportunity to use it!
Grappling with someone is always more dangerous than tasering them. Both to the people detaining and the person being detained. People get pretty banged up when 4 guys are keeping them pressed against the ground.
Fernando - you would make a fine RCMP officer. The man was in obvious distress, made no threatening moves on anyone and is attacked within 30 seconds of the arrival of the RCMP. Many people are distrusful of the police and this is a perfect example of why. This is an act of criminal negligence and manslaughter charges should be laid.
Dziekanski was completely out of control, and acting like a fucking lunatic. If I was one of those RCMP members, I would have tasered the living shit out of Dziekanski too.
Where was assistance for a visitor to Canada stranded in a high-security area? (for 14 hours!)
" Excuse me sir, can we be of assistance, we see you are in obvious distress."
What we are seeing is a murder (including torture), by police, in a police state (police unanswerable to civilian authority)
(But, our civilian authorities cover-up torture in Afghanistan of innocent civilians there turned over to Afghani torturers, by Canadian troops. - What a murderous dispicable nation)
He was happy when see police oficers ,he felt safety , he said "policja, policja" and they killed him :( before i see 3 security oficers , they can't help ? ehhh - sorry my english
