Fate Stay Night - Avalon Emiya version

Like in the game, this uses the song Emiya (original from the game, not the one used in ep 14).
I tried my best to make it fit with how things go in the game.

It's half-assed with the anime background music sometimes being heard, but I wanted some of the dialogue and sound-effects.

In any case, for those who haven't played the game, this might give you an idea of how much more awesome this sequence is in the game ^^

Yeah, the only reason Kotomine was defeated by Shirou there was because Shirou took him by surprise.

Kotomine is skilled enough to fight a servant head on, believe it or not.

I prefer the games way of how things went in that scene..

But more than anything I wish I could see how an animated scene of Emiya fighting Gilgamesh would look :o

Yup, halfassed indeed. I couldn't bother going through all the trouble because I wanted a few sound effects and digging through the game for those specific effects and voiceovers would be a pain xD

I saw the anime before I went through the Visual Novels.

Didn't understand anything but Shirou's constant annoying "Saybaaa" spam.

So glad I took up the Visual Novels looong after watching the anime. It's way too cramped for conveying the big Constructed World; the story just isn't cut out for the limitations of an anime IMO.

@jenniferthomas28 Yet Kotomine almost won against Shirou, who had swords coming out of his body, near the end of Heaven Feel... Granted it was like the Archer vs Shirou fight in unlimited Blade Works, where neither were at their best and more of their ideals clashing.

@Akunaeru only under the right conditions, Gilgamesh is 3x as powerful as a normal servant yet was beaten by Shiro because the conditions were right, whereas Shiro wasnt as powerful as even an average servant at that time. Kotomine is much weaker than a servant he just has a solid plan

I don't think so. The same thing he used on Assassin in HF route, wouldn't work on Saber, Archer, Berserker, Fake Assassin, Lancer...He was just in advantage....Shirou can fight a servant head on too :-) (Berserker in Fate and HF route, Gilgamesh in UBW, D. Saber in HF...)
