Final Fantasy (Owen Pallett) - Song Song Song

This is Owen Pallett (who occasionally plays with the Arcade Fire on tour)'s one-man-band Final Fantasy live at the Waterfront in Norwich, October 22nd 2006. The projections on the screen are made live by a lady named Steph with an over-head projector and transparencies. The backing music is NOT pre-recorded before the show, or generated by a back-up band: Owen uses a Boss Loop Station footpedal to record his violin intro to the song as he's playing it, then he sets it to loop through the song as he goes on to add another bit, and so on. I met him afterwards, he's a really nice guy.

Well he came out afterwards when most people had left. I just went up and said hi. It was a real experience!

I also got him to sign my ticket and I got a photograph with him.

That surely was the best day of my life.

He was really interested that I was a Violinist too. I was soo nervous and kept saying, "I'm not a stalker I swear".

He found that very amusing. Heh.

what places does he usually go to? i live in australia but i'm going to canada and america from the 11th of december to about the 22nd of jan and if theres any chance i'll catch him there i'de wana take it hey
