Laos Basics - Lesson 2 (Basic Phrases, Advanced Numbers)

This time we learned some basic phrases and how to count to 99!

Khoi = I
Euh/Doi = Yes
Baa = No
Khao Chai = To Understand
Hu = To Know
Hong Naam Usai = Where is the bathroom?

11 = Sip-et
20 = Sao
30 = Saam Sip

I am not learning Laos but I love to learn any of any language because foreign languages are very interesting to me. I know Chinese and some French and the Chinese number system is very similar to the Lao language, only you don't even have your own number for eleven it is just adding single digit numbers together to make larger numbers up until 100 but even then it is just the same thing with the word for 100 in there and such. Well anyway your video is really interesting and your really cute.:)

Great.. only feed back is that we don't speak "Laos." We speak "Lao" because Laos is the country and Lao is the descriptive word of the language or people.

Laos language can be too similar to Thai too often but that's a good thing for both of us!
