@BGLANCERS67 I'm sure that Joel's aggresiveness is what attracted Auburn, and probably other schools as well. You always give 100% because you never know who's watching. That was the case with Henderson. He played at Langston State (OK) and only won 2 games in 1974, but his play attracted the attention of the Cowboys. He was the second player that they took in their draft. Russell Maryland was the first and they traded up for him.
@BGLANCERS67 I always think of Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson (Dallas Cowboys). In his first pre-season game at Los Angeles (Rams), he went out to start on special teams and took the hardest hit he had ever taken. Later he went up against tight end Bob Klein, and Klein pushed him down the field like he was on skates. Klein knew he had a fish. I'm sure Joel will find that out, too.
@BGLANCERS67 I'm sure that he has already discovered that college football is a whole lot different that high school. That is why I am wishing him luck. When he steps onto the Jordan-Hare turf, he's going to really find out. And if he makes the pro's, that's a whole new level altogether.
Joel, congratulations on signing to play college football with the Auburn Tigers. I know that you are excited and looking forward to September 4 when you enter Jordan-Hare Stadium to take on Arkansas State. You probably took some flack for leaving California, but it Auburn is where you are comfortable and happy, then go for it. Best of luck.
straight beast man. keep it up bro, people can say youre on roids, but that has nothing to do with being relentless getting to the ball. goodluck man keep it up
