@Jcdoyel You're right.. Joseph and his minions were not saints. They hated the government. Brigham was worse. Rubbing shoulders with influential people proves that Mormonism is true? Why the hypocrisy today? Why do Mormons want to align themselves with Kennedy when most of them voted against him? Their prophets have said that Kennedy belonged to a church that is the whore of Babylon.

I'm sorry to say this, but this doesn't hold water to verify your argument that Mormons are saintly americans. This only shows that famous people can hold different opinions. In fact Mother Teresa was viewed as a saintly woman who won the Nobel Prize before the documentaries exposed her disservices to humanity. Before 1978, if you were black, you could not hold the Mormon priesthood. Also, if they are so american, why did they played a persistent role in promoting an anti-gay right proposition?

Great people in Mormon Church. They have been through allot. They are our history. But that doesn't make it legitimate. Becoming Gods to have Eternal sex with many wives to populate another planet may sound intriguing, but come on!! Obviously thought up by some man.

The Latter Day Saint religion maybe isn't man made. Did you ever think of that? For all you know, and we know, is that they are telling the truth.

Did you ever hear about the "Book of Mormon Musical"? A man of another religion stood up for the LDS church, saying that it was a terrible thing these men who wrote it had done.

Another thing, during the 4-5 years the musical was written, The Latter Day Saints did countless things for the people in Africa.
