This music was so dynamic and and brillnt, lyrics were sometimes ingenuous but always string... Sick of this music?! Well, put on your giant trousers and shit on yourselves!!!...
-
First saw them in Folkestone (Pipers) 1984...one of the most influential bands-ever!
-
Just goes to prove you don't need 5 people in the band to play the music of the NEW MODEL ARMY.

....and the bass player left the band the next day to invent strap locks! seriously though.. this performance was one of the best on The Tube and the only line up of NMA that I liked...virtuoso bass & drum players.. cant believe this is nearly 30 years ago... insane!

Hello, I'm researching a TV documentary about NMA. I wonder if you could help: do you have by any chance have the presenters introducing the band. Would love to see that. Cheers Matt Reid

Cheers this was on here for ages , then vanished cheers for the upload -Those were the days, my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
Fantastic,thanks.
I first saw them in 1984 in Portsmouth,
and the last time was Nottingham 2010 for the 30th Anniversary.
