It took the efforts of Director Mark Johnson of Playing for Change, Producer Brent Miller, and 16 performers and two choruses to bring Keiths song to life in 14 iconic locations around the USA. The singers and musicians, non-professionals all, were chosen because they are living the lyrics in these troubled times, not just performing them.

About Song - One Love

From the award-winning documentary, "Playing For Change: Peace Through Music", comes an incredible rendition of the legendary Bob Marley song "One Love" with Keb' Mo' and Manu Chao. This is the third video from the documentary and a follow up to the classic "Stand By Me" and the incredible "Don't Worry." Released in celebration of Bob Marley's birthday on February 6th, this tribute to the legend is performed by musicians around the world adding their part to the song as it traveled the globe.

There is some controversy re: the phrase "My country tis of ME" instead of My country tis of THEE. Perhaps the writer was zeroed in on the reality that if WE don't stand up and DEMAND CHANGE, this country will lose its soul.

So many conscience numbing distractions they are bombarded with by corporations, Hollywood, TV. designed to create division, hate and keep their minds blind to real issues affecting their future. Why are we depending on the 20 something's of NYC to protest and end the Fed Reserve. Why isn't every unemployeed person in america protesting their fed reserve bank in their own city. Why can we not boycott GE or CNN or BofA?
